Welcome! College Counseling Services is a comprehensive consulting firm. Esther Scheuer, Director, defines College Counseling Services' goal as bringing about the best match between student and college by evaluating the academic, social and personal needs of each student, and then maximizing the chances for acceptance, scholarships and finanacial aid at schools of choice. To this end, College Counseling Services provides individualized placement counseling - evaluating the student's high school course selection, GPA, ACT/SAT I, SAT II scores, activities and interests, and reviewing colleges by size, location, student body, religious affiliation and programs (liberal arts or specialized). In addition, information concerning college selection is provided to broaden the scope of college choices and provide a deeper understanding of the college process.
